Last night when we were putting the kids to bed they were playing as usual. Caleb and Brooke were taking turns tackling each other on the bed. Well it was Brooke's turn and she jumped onto Caleb and smacked her cheek into the hard part of Caleb's head. We heard a loud CRACK and immediate crying. Needless to say she instantly started to get a black eye. We rushed her downstairs and put a bag of cold pea's on her eye in hopes to keep down the swelling and damage to come. :)
Here is a picture of the first day after. I'm sure it will get worse with each day before it starts getting better. You really can't see the black eye (left eye) too well but it's definately there and the color is starting to show. It's hard to take a good picture and make a 2 year old hold still for a few seconds. :)
